Privacy

By default, your files are processed locally in your browser. We do not upload your documents to a server and we do not store them.

Key principles

• 0 upload: no files are sent to our servers.
• 0 storage: nothing is kept on the server.
• 0 tracking cookies: no ad tracking.
• 0 account: no login required.

Processing happens on your device (CPU/GPU). Files may use memory temporarily, but nothing is transmitted by default.

For maximum control, use LocalOptim in private browsing and clear the tool session via “ Clear all ”.

What happens in practice

The files you drop are loaded into your browser’s memory to perform the requested operations (compression, conversion, PDF pages…). You can clear the list at any time via “ Clear all ”.

Some browsers may limit preview for heavy or protected PDFs. In that case, try a smaller file or a different browser.
